we are currently facing a new challenge at our project. We do want to use campaing automation with survey integration. The requirement however, is not to use the standard SAP Surveys, but an external (sharepoint) survey. The mails are also not send by SAP CRM, but by an external package.
Now we are wondering how to set this up.
Normally, we would create a straight on Campaing Automation Process, send the mail with link to our (CRM) survey, get the answers back (Yes, I will attend and No, I am sorry) in and based on the rules defined, we execute the next steps.
But no I am wondering how we can do that in our scenario. We can use the open channel to export the TG to the external mail server. Here they can combine the CRM data with the external survey link.
The TG will now go to the sharepoint site and fill the survey out.
The following questions do arise by me:
1) is there a "standard" automation proces for this scenario (how to guide or something like that)?
2) how can we get the reactions from the Survey into our CRM system (webservice??)
3) which FM or work flow needs to be started to go to the next steps.
A little brainstorm in side my head give me the idea to use a "dummy" survey in CRM containing the same answer options as the real (external) survey. So I can use a least the answer options in my decision note to perform the next steps. But still I am not sure how I get the answers with in CRM and how to process them.
