I'm currently setting up bounce management in CRM 7.0. Below are the settings i have done in the system.
Handle all hard bounces using dynamic bounce processing(bounce rules)
1. Event Linkage: CRM_DOCU - ERRORSENDSTATUSREACHED - BOUNCE
2. Default bounce rule is used with conditions for the communication type = INT & error type = Permanent
action: update bp address data with do not use flag.
3. SO28: recipient email add(sender address in the bounce mail)
address type: internet address new recipient: ERMS Support 2(address)
4. SCOT -> Inbound processing: Communication Type: Internet mail
recipient address(sender address in the bounce mail) document class: *
Exit name: CL_CRM_BOUNCE_HANDLER Call Seq: 1
5. CRMC_IC_AUIADDR: (sender address in the bounce mail)
We are recieving the inbound bounce mails and i can see the bounce event triggered. But the rule and the action are not getting triggered and hence the flag is not set.
I did check out all the links in SDN and also followed the steps mentioned in ERMS Overview by John Burton.
Please let me know if I'm missing any setting?
