Create Marketing Attributes and Attribute Values with Function Modules

Hello everybody,

after struggling quite a time with a tricky problem, I hope that somebody here can give me a hint:

I have the task to create a report which imports marketing classification attributes from a third-party-system into SAP CRM. Therefore I Need function modules/ classes to create

a) marketing attributes related to an existing Attribute group

b) attach Attribute values to existing marketing attributes

I experimented a bit with those function modules but didn't find a way that works

• CRM_MKTPFTPL_INIT
• CRM_MKTPFPTL_READ
• CRM_MKTPFCHR_MAINTAIN
• CRM_MKTPFCHR_SAVE
• CRM_MKTPFTPL_MAINTAIN
• CRM_MKTPFTPL_SAVE

Would be great if somebody could give me a hint of a possible Approach for this task as I couldn't find some Information about this quite specific Topic here.
