I am trying to create a loyalty membership with some given data. Earlier I was using the FM CRM_LOY_MSH_CREATE_SINGLE and the creation with this function module was success. However, later my requirement got changed that the filed USAGE has to be populated at the time of creation of membership. This field is the field PURPOSE_OF_USE in the membership table LOYD_MSH_MEMS. The FM CRM_LOY_MSH_CREATE_SINGLE doesn't have a field to pass this Usage(field name in webui, purpose_of_use field in table level).
Hence I decided to use the FM LOY_MEMBERSHIP_CREATE_RFC which I am not much familiar of. I passed all the required data to this FM in changing parameter CT_DATA but the creation is not success. I called the FM LOY_MEMBERSHIP_SAVE_RFC after the above function call also. No luck yet. Could anyone of you please shed some lights to the usage of this FM?. Or is there any way to pass the purpose_of_use field to CRM_LOY_MSH_CREATE_SINGLE?.
Note: I was wondering why we have the field CT_DATA for the creation of membership as a changing parameter. Can anybody help?.
